We’ve talked about Cush and Nimrod: propagators of the old “ways” of Babylon in the post-flood world.
We now have Esau – propagator of a “new-and-improved”
system of Babylon after them; ushering in a
whole new “way” of looking at things. This new system still carried within it the spirit of old Babylon, but
possesses a whole new
face.
Much of this
face resembles subtle twists on what were once the ways of God; twisting and reshaping them
into that which wasn’t meant to be! All throughout time, the ways of God weren’t immune to Serpent
corruption.

Why, then, would Esau, and those who followed him in blood and spirit, want to begin this, as well?

As we already know, Esau was the twin brother of Israel (i.e. Jacob); so, at least in blood, he and his kin
were extremely
close to Israel! We also know how the story goes: Jacob eventually received the birthright
of the covenant seed, and Esau received a few, more insignificant, non-spiritual blessings.
We also know some of the detrimental things Esau did in his life, what he stood for, believed, as well as
how his seed morphed into the
Edomites of old. We also know that some of these Edomites, eventually,
helped become the force behind the ancient
Roman Empire.

Many of us, for so long, may have wondered why
Rome had such a dominating hold, or majesty, over the
planet for such a long time… and
still does! We are now beginning to understand this whole story.

Beast of the 'Earth'

We’ve already learned about the system, and man, which comprised the political beast - the beast of the
sea
(in The Esau-Rome Connection). We’ve also mentioned there was another parallel to this first beast:
a
system and man manifesting in the religious world, as well - and influencing it, for the worse.

In this sphere of influence, there are also a number of “heads” (i.e. seven) associated; and a man known as
the
False Prophet. Even though the parameters of this sphere are a little different, both systems (i.e. political
and religious) still seem to point towards the same, general direction:
Rome!

Let’s begin with a look at some of the characteristics of this
False Prophet. As stated, they might appear to
be a little different:

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns
like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
                                                                                    - Rev. 13:11 (KJV)

In other words, this
False Prophet would go on his way, acting as innocent as a lamb; but actually would
speak as a
dragon.

Horns, in the past, have always symbolized power. So, this False Prophet would become very powerful,
indeed; and, by his words, he would help facilitate the control and authority of the first, political beast over
everyone:

And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell
therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
                                                                                   - Rev. 13:12 (KJV)

Soon, those countries under both of these beasts would have
one mind - people would all begin to think
alike.[1] A religious system would back the goings-on of the European Union and the Eurozone – both the
epitomes of the
Western Europe model of political life. All of this will become relevant, later on.

There are also a few differences, regarding the seven “heads” of this beast:

“(The prophet John speaking) So he (an angel) carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw
a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads…"
                                                                                     - Rev. 17:3 (KJV)

This verse is very telling: an angel was about to leak some secrets of prophecy to the writer of Revelation,
John. This angel compared the corrupt, antichrist system of the future to a woman – a woman with,
obviously, very questionable moral values.
The angel elaborated:

And the angel said unto me… ‘I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her,
which hath the seven heads… The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.’
                                                                                     - Rev. 17:9 (KJV)

Interestingly enough,
Rome is one of the only modern cities positioned on seven hills. Back in ancient
times, it was the
only one.

These hills are now known as the:

Palatine
Aventine
Capitoline
Quirinal
Viminal
Esquiline
Caelian

On top of this, there’s another verse in Revelation which elaborates more on this woman, and her
"heads;" making the identification of who she is as clear as day:

And the woman which thou saweth is that great city, which reigneth

over the kings of the earth.
                                                                                    - Rev. 17:18 (KJV)

…a
city?

Yes, there was, indeed, a political empire - in John’s time - named after a city; one which ruled most kings
of the earth at this time. There also was a modern
treaty named after this city; one which led to a
conglomeration of the former lands of this empire. And, there was a
religion named after this city.
Rome is the only one which fits this bill, exactly.

As stated, the Bible infers there would also be a
church, or some type of religious authority, "riding atop”
of the political authority of this city. This
does seem to occur today, in this particular part of the world. If the
political system of the Roman Empire has been “revived” into the European Union, then there
is a church
in the mix, as well. For over 1600 years, there has been a church – or religious authority – which
maintained influence and authority over most political affairs of this side of the planet!

What other
system do we have like this in the world today - with this exact scenario? What other city, and
empire, seems to have been “revived,” in this way?

What else could it be?

"The Birthright"

As we begin to unravel the importance of Rome to this religious system of Mystery Babylon, let’s, again,
return to the story of
Esau.

We already know one reason why Esau and his descendants would, naturally, want to take up cause
against Jacob (i.e. Israel), and his descendants: it was to recover, at least in their minds, lost land, lost
historical significance, and lost favor Israel had now been granted.
But; really? Could such a war of this manner still be going on between these two groups, today? Could this
desire of Esau/Edom
still be relevant, today? Interestingly, we see that:

…Esau is the end of the world…
                                                                                     - 2 Esdras 6:9[2]

Apparently, his genetic descendants (as well as those who followed them in
spirit) are still around today,
and have relevance in the future:

If any credence is given to Apocryphal writings, it will be observed that “Esau is in the end of the world…”
This places the descendants of Esau into a position of great prominence at the end of the ages which
culminates with Edom’s last desperate attempt to recover his birthright…
                                                                ("Esau/Edom, and the Trail of the Serpent – V", n. d., p. 10)[3]

These
Edomites would continue their global attempt to regain what their patriarch had so recklessly parted
with, so many years ago; even though the fact lies that they are truly no longer entitled to it, and have been
defeated in their attempts, numerous times.
Not only through bloody strife would they work to fight Israel, but through subtle,
inner attacks on the nation
itself – through attacks on Israel’s
belief system, as well as one of the most fundamental elements of the
Israeli people: their own
bloodline.

Yes, let’s look at these subtle,
inner attacks from Esau, his progeny, and sympathizers; and how it has
manifested into today’s world.

They Say They Are!

We already know how pagan Cain, and the terrestrial angels of the pre-flood world, attacked the
bloodline of Adam, to compromise it. We also know
why those with terrestrial, angelic blood attempted to
taint these bloodlines – to stop
Christ from being born, and the fulfilment of the Genesis 3:15 Prophecy (see
Nephilim & Cainites).
When this didn’t work, Cain’s offspring, next, set out to work on attacking Israel
internally - in their laws
and belief systems. This was accomplished by allowing Kenite blood into the Jewish priesthood (see
The 'Adamic' Flood, and Beyond). Again, this addition of new blood wasn’t the problem, per se’, but the
different, often pagan-influenced,
ideologies inserted into Israel’s religious hierarchy!

Now, let’s see how Esau, and those following him, also attempted much of the same - to infiltrate the
bloodline and ideologies of ancient Israel, as well.

Through this, we’ll begin to see another link in the
mystery of Mystery Babylon – religious and genetic
attacks from
Esau’s kin.
Not surprisingly, we see that Esau:

…acted like Nimrod… just as one snared people by their words (understanding hunter metaphorically), so
did the other (Esau, i.e. Rome) snare people by their words…
                                                                                ("Nimrod: Man, Maniac or Myth?", n. d., p. 13)[4]

As we know, there apparently were some similarities between the Nimrod and Cush of old, and the
patriarch
Esau: all three seemed out to corrupt - even destroy - the ways of God, in one fashion or another.
We already know that people like Nimrod, Cush, and Semiramis were
openly pagan; openly defiant about
wanting to turn their backs on God, and run toward pagan ideology. At least they had nothing to hide.
Esau and his clan, however, had to go about their work of corruption
subtly; with a slow-but-sure quest to
dispel everything they figured had been given to Israel (i.e. Jacob) "unjustly."
These
Edomites, eventually, would find themselves right back into the thick of things; and, at least early on,
they were fairly easy to spot. As their trek became more intense, however, they needed to go more
undercover; to make things look as if
they were the ones who should be the rightful owners of all the
blessings of this birthright, and weren't doing anything wrong.
It came to be that, no matter what moral route these people had to take, whatever treacherous pathways
they felt they needed to use to aid them with their conclusion, they began to proceed as if it were
they who
were the innocent and deserving ones.

The world of
religion seemed a perfect guise for them to do their devious work, as well to hide themselves
behind:

...Rome, under the name of "Edom," is compared to a boar… Why?… To tell you this: Just as the swine
when reclining puts forth its hooves as if to say: See that I am clean, so too does the empire of Edom
[Rome] boast as it commits violence and robbery, under the guise of establishing a judicial tribunal.
                                                                                     ("Edom", n. d., p. 18)[5]

The Edomites needed to act as subtly as a
serpent to achieve their quests for spiritual domination – it’s no
surprise the routes they had to take, considering who Rome’s spiritual propagator was (as we recall):

…the personification of that Snake in this world… is Esau.
                                                                                     ("Edom", n. d., p., 4)[6]

Let’s, first, take a look at what Esau’s bloodline was about to manifest itself into, over time. Then, we’ll look
at some of the
ideologies these same people adopted, or twisted, in order to aid them in their conquest of
Israel’s “top spot.”

Corrupt Blood...?

Although a number of Edomites may have traveled to Rome in the past (as we know), there were many who
stayed in the Middle East – their home land. Eventually, many of these people were taken captive by
another, stronger empire. The Edomites eventually found themselves in the same situation as other
people who had been subjugated in this same way – namely, a few of the tribes of
Israel.

When we speak about the racial mixtures that brought about the Jews of today, we must highlight events
surrounding the Babylonian captivity of Judah which included some from the Tribes of Benjamin, Levi and
Simeon, taken by Nebuchadnezzar to Babylon. At the same time Edom was put under Babylonian rule,
causing some Edomites to be brought to Babylon…
                                                        ("Esau/Edom, and the Trail of the Serpent – II", n. d., p. 7)[7]

Of course, the inevitable began to happen: Edomites would start to mix their bloodlines with the blood of
Israel.

Even though many were taken to Babylon, their captivity in this area wasn’t to last - Nebuchadnezzar’s
Babylon would eventually be overthrown, as well. Change was in the air - at least for the children of Israel.

When the Medes and Persians overthrew Babylon, (king) Cyrus issued an edict… allowing Judah to return
(to Israel)… only 50,000 returned… Many preferred to remain in Babylon, having intermarried with
Babylonians and Edomites and adopted their religion and law…
                                                        ("Esau/Edom, and the Trail of the Serpent – II", n. d., p. 7-8)[8]

As we see, many would choose to stay right where they were, and this mixing of bloodlines – and
ideology -
would continue. There were many Edomites, however, who found themselves with a similar choice as given
to these tribes of Israelis (a.k.a. the Judeans) – to return to the land they once lived in:

The Edomites were never able to return and found themselves pushed out of their own country into in the
Negeb south of Judah… eventually southern Judea became known as Idumea. According to Josephus,
John Hyrcanus I subjected them some time between 130-120BC and compelled them to convert to Judaism
or die. Thereafter they were gradually absorbed by the Israelites, and over time became known as "Jews".
                                                        ("Esau/Edom, and the Trail of the Serpent – IV", n. d., p. 13)[9]

So, the Edomites were allowed to follow Israel back to their former land, and settle in this same, general
vicinity. The area where the Edomites lived was now known as
Idumea.[10] Multiculturalism began to take
hold in this area, as well.
A number of people at this time probably considered this a good thing; a way to possibly slow - even end -
the age-old strife between the two peoples.
As we see:

A hundred years before Christ, Judah was inhabited by Edomites and native Israelites who were both
followers of Talmudic Judaism, seeming to heal the breach between Jacob and Esau.
                                                        ("Esau/Edom, and the Trail of the Serpent – II", n. d., p. 6)[11]

Even though there may have been good intentions to this, no doubt - and people may have meant well - it
still may have not been good for Israel… as we’ll see. All that glitters is not always gold.
How many of us would think the combination of two warring people a good means to help them understand
one another? They might begin to have an “awareness” of each other’s plight; to be able to “celebrate”
each other’s differences; and, eventually, "bury the hatchet." After all, they were both in the same boat –
forced to follow an edict of another major world empire (i.e. the Medes and Persians), and go settle in the
same general areas.

God, however, did not want this unification: first, as we know, for the sake of the Genesis 3:15 Prophecy
(the seed of Israelite people needed to be pure, and continually pure, to allow for the savior - Jesus Christ -
to be born); second, because we’ve seen, time and time again, there was greater possibility of
ideological
corruption when these combinations occurred. Of course, this doesn't happen every time - but
often.
People holding to different cultural and religious influences (often pagan) would come into Israeli families,
and,
oftentimes, there would be intermarriage resulting from these combinations. What, also, resulted
were corruptions of these once-pure ways of God - the ways God desired for this chosen nation.
This was
the major problem behind early multiculturalism.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with people trying to live next to each other, even marrying one another -
except when it hurts the culture and strength of a nation; and/or promotes some kind of moral decay.

Ultimately, the purely-Israeli elements of their land - their morals, their culture, and their heritage – were
slowly being usurped, even absorbed, into the ways of others around them.

…the people were a hybrid of Canaanites, Babylonians, Edomites, Hittites, Judahites, etc… Let us
recognize that the original meaning of the word "Jew" did not signify a race of people, or a religion. It
signified ALL who lived in a geographic area called Judea, except for the Romans.
                                                         ("Esau/Edom, and the Trail of the Serpent – II", n. d., p. 8)[12]

These Edomites mixed in the nation of Israel much like the ancient
Kenites did; and how they slowly began
to assimilate themselves into Israel’s priesthood, and change it around! Eventually, this section of Edomite
people and theology was becoming obscured. As with the Kenite scribes, theological manipulation was
subtly taking hold.

Is this beginning to sound like an anti-Semitic article? Not at all; as we’ll see! Is it
history, however? Yes. Is
it
reality? Yes. We are out for truth, here, in this site; not what we could say to make everything sound good
for everyone. In this website, we, mainly, want to discuss the things a person
can change; not things they
can’t (such as their bloodline). So, from now on, the majority of our discussion will pertain to these
manipulations of Israeli
theology and dogma; not who has “good” or "bad" blood. Regardless of this, we
still need a little on the background of this all, and need take a look at what happened in the infiltration of
Israelite blood,
overall.

Moving further: when the
Roman Empire arrived on the scene, and began to dominate most of the ancient
Middle East, this certain Edomite/Idumean faction also began to be more powerful. Why? It’s not too
surprising to assume this would happen; because, we recall, some members of ancient Rome were
once
Edomite to begin with! Anyone might also assume the ancient Romans would probably lean towards
favoring their long-lost brethren; over the God-loving,
pagan-deflecting people of Israel (obviously
because the ancient Romans were
also pagan).

The tide turned in favor of the Edomite fraction when Julius Ceaser made Antipater, an Edomite, Procurator
of Judea… When he was killed four years later his son Herod gained power but was rejected by the
Judahites. Herod shrewdly gained the support of Rome.
                                (Weisman, 1991, p. 7)[13]

Because of their multiculturalism, the power grid was shifting – more and more in
Edomite favor. The
leadership of Israel, much like its religious authority, began to fall under the influence of foreign ideologies.
Herod’s faction eventually “had control of the Judean’s culture and way of life.”[14] And yes: this was the
same Herod who tried to kill Jesus as a babe.
Now, it’s pretty easy to understand why the leadership of Israel (under the Edomite/Idumean Herod), as
well as the religious authority (infiltrated by the Kenites),
both would want Jesus silenced, or dead! Jesus
was a threat to all of them, to their institution; and he knew how these people slithered in, and took control!

Within a few years, as once could guess, this faction of “Edom ceased to exist as a separate people” - and
we
know where they ended up![15] People don’t just dissolve into nothingness. Soon, these groups of
individuals were assumed to be
one nation; subjected to the same leadership, the same laws, and,
eventually, the same
name. They, collectively, began to be thought of as Jews.[16]

As we know, God was not happy with Edomites/Idumeas mixing amongst the children of Israel, because
of all of this change. He was not excusing any of it:

"(God speaking) As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so
will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate… all Idume´a… and they shall know that I am the Lord."
                                                                                         - Ezek. 35:15 (KJV)

“For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon

Idume´a, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.”
                                                                                         - Isa. 34:5 (KJV)

It would, truly, be nice if
everyone got along, and if every element of a nation could be placed into a neat,
“politically correct” package. It’d also be nice if
everything added into a mix worked for the betterment of a
community. But, unfortunately, this is not the case; things don’t always work out that way.
Some things actually work towards the betterment of the
invasive nation; or incoming people. This helps
open up pathways for the
detriment of the invaded society. This is reality; this is human nature!

We also know that, after the fulfillment of the Genesis 3:15 Prophecy (when Jesus was born), the major
problem with groups coming together wasn’t the crossing of bloodlines – but the mixing of their
ways. The
purity of God’s ways were truly under siege; being attacked, not only from outside, pagan influences, but
internally - in these Edomite infusions. This combination made things a lot harder for the average person to
detect
who was whom, and expose the origins of whatever was on the Israelite "plate," now! Their inner
siege worked, so much better than any pagan attempt ever could. This is why God “hateth” Esau!

Synagogue of Sammael?

This is also why we have a couple of seemingly-deplorable verses coming out of the book of Revelation –
those which might sound anti-Semitic. But, are they, in
reality? We already know that there were ideological
infiltrations, as well as physical infiltrations, in Israel at this time; and we know how they got there. Again, it’s
not really the blood-mixing, it’s the alternative ideologies which came about, as a result! Most of these
additions/changes, as with pagan additions, have roots in the twisted ideologies of
Sammael (i.e. Satan)/
the Serpent
, way back in the Garden of Eden. Hence, we now have those who:

…say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie…
                                                                                   - Rev. 3:9 (KJV)

…and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews,

and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
                                                                                   - Rev. 2:9 (KJV)

That is why we have these verses, above! The original Jewish culture and beliefs were
compromised, and
corrupted. Many would
claim they are Jews, and following the ways of God; but, in reality, their philosophies
and theologies just don’t jive!
Again, we’re not saying that all of those with Jewish blood are corrupt, today; or are not “good” people. Of
course we’re not saying that! The problem lies with the
decisions to follow this corruption that people had to
make - then and
now. We cannot stress this point, enough.

Soon, these
alternate ideologies and human rationalizations came into the forefront - impure ways taught as
the pure ways of God; brought into the forefront by individuals who probably
knew better, but did nothing to
stop it! They, then, would continue
on, for the sake of bettering themselves, in some way, and/or their own
people. They wouldn't really care about the negative results these twists of ideology might have, as long as
it works towards
their advantage. These people would act just like the tares of Jesus’ parable (Mat. 13:24) –
the corrupt religious leaders of his day.

He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and
the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
                                                                                 - Mat. 13:24 (KJV)

We absolutely see this today – in the highest levels of power. Again, it's not the do-gooders or well-wishers
of
any faith; it's those who willingly know about these pagan elements, and corruption, and continues to
pass it on - for their
own benefit.

In the next verse, we run across one of the most famous verses about this topic:

And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT,

THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
                                                                                         - Rev. 17:5 (KJV)

There are people in the church, making it
whorish, who have adopted these ideologies full on - those
which originated in Esau/Edom and/or paganism. They have "sold their soul" to gather an abundance of
worldly wealth and fame, and would use any means - even
religion - to achieve these end-results. And,
it doesn’t really matter how many
good souls - those trying to find the right ways of God – would be led
astray, as a result... to become a victim of this spiritual
fornication.

And this leads us to the very next verse:

And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with

the blood of the martyrs of Jesus…
                                                                                         - Rev. 17 6 (KJV)

The context of these three simultaneous verses seems to make a lot of sense, now!

Again, this is not a tirade of all Catholic and Christian peoples, just the adopters of pagan and Edomite
factors which assimilated into it!

By Their Fruits

The most important element to take away from all this is: beware of what’s taught in the name of God, and
may look like God; but, obviously, comes from other sources. This is what’s truly meant by antichrist.

Again,

...by their fruits ye shall know them.
                                                                                          - Mat. 7:20 (KJV)

Question everything.

So, with all of this said and done, what would be a few good, God-like ideologies for one to follow in life,
then? What are some of the true,
unadulterated ways of God for us to maintain?

A personal faith and acceptance of the graces of God are high on the list; accepting Jesus’ sacrifice on the
cross as the way to salvation (and not the cross itself); not paying attention to the charms, incantations,
chants, talismans, and relics a pagan might treasure; not praying to idols or icons of any kind, nor putting
anything
of the earth above the Lord God (which, also, could be considered lust and idolatry); praying
strait to God, without having to go through some human or divine intermediary; loving our neighbor as our
self; showing ultimate
humility in all things; never letting the pride of the Serpent take over thoughts and
actions; not
coveting another person’s possessions, nor allowing envy to dominate our willful emotions
(both of which the Serpent did; and
promotes).

These are just the beginning…

Now, this leads us to another couple of questions:

Is there
anyone, nowadays, who might actually retain some of this original birthright of Jacob… and, if
so, where would our discussion lead to,
now?

Why, again, if so much of these faiths are Christian, would they willingly allow pagan elements in, all the
way to the
inner echelons? And, if the Protestants protested the Catholic Church for having corruption of
this pagan magnitude, why would they, also, allow some of the same?

The answer is: it’s extremely
hard to break away from tradition, and to upstart those in control - but that
doesn't do the do-gooder or well-wisher any good, now does it? Fighting traditions and superstition are,
sometimes, as hard as fighting Satan himself!

A 'Mixed' Conclusion?

What’s next? Where do we go from here? First, we must be beware of what, politically, comes out of this
city of
Rome, and the old Roman Empire! Beware of all those who have willingly collaborated with Rome,
in the past and future. Beware of what was established through the “treaty of Rome” – the empowerment
of the European Union, the Eurozone, and the
Western European model as the standard of living!

Also, be careful of what comes out of Rome, in regards to
religion. Look to see if these ideologies
practiced are truly the original ways of God, or the result of some pagan
infusion?

We know these elements actually trace back to Babylon, to Cain, and, ultimately, to the
Serpent! Other
elements contain
Esau’s twisted ideologies (such as salvation by works). Beware of a belief system that
says your salvation lies in going
only through them.

Do you want these people to control your marriage, your sexual activities, the birth of your children; even
your own death? Do they want you to be reliant on
their “8 step” plan to salvation - from the cradle to
the grave? This site has always been one of a Christian nature - promoting good, Christian values; but…
truth is truth; corruption is corruption. Let it be told; and understood.

Once again, there are
many good-meaning Jewish, Catholic, and Protestant people out there; those who
want to do what’s right; who want to know the truth. But, with all of these alternatives - these adulterated
elements added to the works - it makes it
so hard for most anyone to be aware of just what direction they
are actually heading!

Question everything – even tradition! Question man’s rationale on the word of God! Question beliefs held
by those of the upper echelon!

"Purple & Scarlet"

Things get a little scary when the Bible points exactly to what was mentioned, in the above.

In some very telling verses of Revelation, we’ll begin to understand a little more about the religious
whore
who prostitutes herself:

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and
pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
                                                                                       - Rev. 17:4 (KJV)

                      London                                               Paris                                         New York City

Why, if these areas of the world were supposedly Christian, were authentic Egyptian obelisks brought over
there; and erected? Yes, these are
original pagan obelisks from Egypt - once a strong hold of pagan
religion. Now,
why would Christian people transport these obelisks, at great expense, all the way across the
world, to stand them up in their areas, as if they were an object of
veneration? Answer: where Christianity
goes,
corruption can, and often does, follow.

This same obelisk - strait from Egypt - is also right in the heart of the Vatican – in St. Peter’s Square,
Rome!

Doesn’t this symbol, on top of many Protestant churches, look familiar?[45] Yes, the steeple is actually a
variation of a pagan
phallic symbol: the obelisk.[46] In ancient paganism, the obelisk symbolized "the rays of
the
sun." Again, we already know where and who sun-worship had its origins in.

Interestingly enough, we also have obelisks set up in areas deemed under “Christian” influence.

One of the most famous symbols of Christianity - the cross - is an example of these fusions. If we look at
this symbol, we might assume it has long-been just a major symbol of Christianity. Yet, if we look at history,
however, we’ll discover the cross is actually a
pagan symbol; appearing thousands of years before Christ!
Sixteenth century Spanish conquistadors, while attempting to conquer the hearts of the American Aztecs,
received the surprise of their lives when they saw a large
cross already situated in their pagan temples,
long before they were able to step in, and make some changes![37]

There is a famous verse in the Bible that states: “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish
foolishness...” (I Cor. 1:18).]38] If we look deeper into this verse, we have to ask ourselves: should a
believer of the Bible and God preach the
cross as the redeemer of men’s souls, or what happened on the
cross
(i.e. Jesus’ sacrifice)?

What it all boils down to is this: the true, Judeo/Christian way of God is a
relationship directly with God –
like child to his father; and not a religion,
per se’. A true child of God doesn’t need to go about their belief
like the other (pagan) religions of the world do. We don’t need to
possess, or physically hold on to, a cross
to make us more worthy, or gather God’s divine favor.
Doing things in these ways could easily lead us right
back into some form of compromised, pagan/Christian
practice. Pagans have their charms, their talismans, and their relics. Pagans chant… a true Christian does
not need to do, or put their faith in, any of these.

Once someone does, these icons, charms, talismans, and relics might begin to
replace God as the object
of credit.[39] The true Christian should have the
Holy Spirit in their heart to guide them; not something of
the earth
. The addition of pagan symbols and rites in the Christian mix is just another way to make
Judeo/Christian beliefs look “just like any other religion.”

But, regardless, Christian icons are bowed to, just like pagan idols are. They are even given credit for
someone’s healing, well-being, etc. People even pray to these icons.

The word “father” is a title given to priests of the Roman Catholic Church; as well as the Pope. As innocent
as all of this might sound, it does take away the significance of God as the one designated to be the only
“father” of veneration.

Interestingly enough, it was Jesus himself who said to “call no man your father.”

Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in
Moses' seat: All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their
works: for they say, and do not… (they are) to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. But be not ye called Rabbi:
for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth:
for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
                                                       - Mat. 23:1-9 (KJV)

Religious holidays, such as
Christmas and Easter, both contain pagan elements. But, surprisingly enough,
they're
still celebrated by a great number of people, throughout the ages; as if nothing of pagan caliber
exists! It’s funny when some people are confronted with these facts (regarding the pagan origins of these
holidays). Many will just look at the person informing them, and quickly brush it off; as if to say, “Why did
you tell me about that? I don’t want to know about that, right now. You’re ruining all of my fun.”

From these few examples, we’re beginning to see how it’s not extremely difficult to identify pieces of sacrilege
and pagan roots in the Roman Catholic Church.
These facts may, indeed, take one out of their “comfort zone;” or work to “cramp their style.”
Tradition, as
we’re beginning to learn, can be
extremely difficult for one to shake.

The Power Behind

Ultimately, Catholic tradition and the Magisterium (the teaching authority of the Catholic institution) seem
to be the most powerful teaching authorities of the Catholic church. The Bible, then, seems to come in
dead
last. For a long while, lay people weren’t even recommended to read the Bible. Why? Maybe it was
assumed that the minds of layman weren’t “spiritually-mature” enough to handle it! With this kind of set-up,
it’s fairly easy to assume the ones in the upper ranks have all of the control, and authority!

Is this religion; or a religious “machine?”

Adding in
Edomite concepts, such as salvation by works, and we come up with a cradle-to-grave
religious domination over simple, well-wishing individuals; the poor person continually looking for
approval and acceptance for their efforts. The same desperately seek a chance for a position in heaven
through
somebody else, rather than utilizing the direct approach – going straight to their Heavenly Father.
These corrupted ideologies were, most probably, what
Noah and Shem feared the most, back when they
lived in Italy – the combination of outside pagan ideals with the ways of God. That's also why they probably
fought so hard to stop anything like this from coming into their land!

The Corrupt Tenants

It’s not too hard to assume how, over time, a number of people could begin to associate the old religion of
paganism with Christianity:

                  After… 325 (AD), Christianity became the established religion, under Constantine;

hence Babylon, Rome, Edom, and Christianity are synonymous.
                                                                                     ("Who is Edom", n. d., p. 3)[40]

This really gives a black eye to someone wanting to find the true ways of God. Of course, not every person
in Christian faith is wrong; nor is everyone a practicing pagan. It’s far from that. And, not every ideology of
Judeo/Christian belief is a problem. Again, it’s not the people who innocently want to follow the correct
Christian tenants; it's those individuals who willingly work to keep this all a
mystery.
This is one of the most important elements of
Mystery Babylon: the diabolical elements of a compromised
Judeo/Christian faith being held in such secrecy and "politically correct"
mystery. This continues to
strengthening the end-result of this force of the Serpent:
Mystery Babylon.

So Rome, Edom, and Christianity became, and are, synonymous with Babylon, and therefore is called
mystical Babylon; not only because she had her rise from them, but because of her great Confusion of
Tongues as took place in Babel or Babylon, which is confusion, and also from her many sects and
divisions springing from that cause.
                                                     ("Who is Edom", n. d., p. 3)[41]

Protestants, Too!

Of course, this does not apply only to those follow the Catholic faith; there is not a good-bad argument
towards any Christian denomination, here. There are do-gooders and well-wishing people throughout all
Christian faiths. In fact, there were those, in the past, who actually
protested these corrupt elements of
the Catholic Church, way back in the day; and began to separate their selves from this proverbial teat.
Yet, again, corruption would follow. And, yet again; that doesn’t mean the people who come from these
Protestant denominations were bad, either; it’s just the ideology.

We know too, and are certain that all Protestants first separated themselves and came out from Rome, or
the Roman Catholics, in the 16th century, at the Reformation, (so called by Martin Luther). So by this we
see Protestants are of the seed of Rome…
                                              ("Who is Edom", n. d., p. 3)[42]

Even though pagan intrusions into
Protestant ideologies might not have been the desired-result at first,
the same thing would happen to the do-gooders and well-wishers in these faiths, as well. As in the Catholic
Church, many of these
Protestant ideologies couldn’t escape tradition and corruption, as well.

After time, Protestants would cow-tow to the many fundamental stances they might have first held, and fell
right back into the same pool of compromise. It’s not hard to understand that, regardless of original intent,
Protestant denominations are often considered “illegitimate children” of the Roman Catholic Church.[43]
Let's look at some reasons, why.

A majority of Protestants
still hold their holy day of worship on Sunday - just like their Catholic
counterparts - even though Sunday was once known as "the day of the sun.” This was the day when
pagan worshippers worshipped their
sun god (and we already know the origins of this sun god: the
Serpent (see Babylonian Gods of Genesis)!

The Edomites are Idolaters, and Sunday, the first day of the week, is the day of their festival, therefore it is
forbidden to have commerce with them in the land of Israel…
               ("Who is Edom", n. d., p. 3)[44]

Many Protestants also still celebrate Christmas and Easter, regardless of pagan affiliations.

Martin Luther, an ex-Catholic priest, was one of the first to openly protest the Catholic Church, and start
his own. The Lutheran Church still carries some of the traditions of their mother faith, as well. One example
is the use of
infant baptism - a practice, again, of pagan origin.

There is more.

The wine of tare deceit comes inside a cup of misguided information, distributed out to the populous as a
preacher would distribute wine of holy communion. The Bible, as we recall, has a
woman as the symbol of
a church, or body of people united in some similar, spiritual front. The true
woman (or church) of God is
likened to His
bride: a chaste virgin without spot or blemish; an untainted group of individuals who haven’t
been “screwed over” by worldly deceptions.[25] It’s pretty obvious to assume a woman of
the other side
would be one of questionable moral character, or some type of unfaithful wanton to God.

How could this
whore profit from prostituting herself out, in this way? In this case, the woman – no longer
a chaste/undefiled woman of her community – begins to whore herself out, to gather her riches and
wealth. The same has happened to these churches / religious affiliations of old: they began to “sell their
soul” for that
of this world (Mat. 13:24).
And, in order for her to receive her
payment, she distributes a cup of immoral and intoxicating ideologies to
everyone around her; attempting to get them drunk on whatever she tries to promote. The more people
around her
want to drink of it, the more degenerated they will eventually get; and the more powerful she
will get! This woman cheats on her “husband” (i.e. God) through her actions, and “screws over” those who
have already drunk. The only intoxication the whore feels is power and control over others.

Of course, it all begins with slight, seemingly-compassionate twists in a cultural ideology, a political
ideology, or a religious ideology. And, again, it’s not the bloodline of this whore, but the intoxicating
substances she
willingly distributes to the populous.
On top of it, she goes about her business, claiming she is
near to the church of God. And, of course,
those who are “drunken” - the good people of the world - yearn to follow what is right, to strive for what is
good.[26] But, in the end, they are a victim of ultimate
betrayal - by the whore! This hypocrisy infuriates God
to the extreme.

Yes, in this way, twisted ideology could be the great “
wine” used for this mass-deception. Many have
heard the saying: “religion is the devil in disguise;” and this is for good reason. Those who really hated
Jesus, during his time on earth, were those of
religious authority (the Pharisees, Sadducees, etc.), as well
as these Edomites (hiding amongst the nation of Israel).
Why? Of course, it was because Jesus exposed
these
ideologies for what they were - for the tares they were!
These are amongst the highest order of individuals that Jesus said would “hate you” (Luke 21:17).

There is one more word the Bible uses to describe what is actually going on here; something that
happened to a great deal of well-meaning people throughout the ages, and
still happens: fornication.

"Spiritual Fornication"

(John speaking) And there came one of the… angels… and talked with me, saying unto me, Come
hither; and I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With
whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made
drunk with the wine of her
fornication.                                                     - Rev. 17:1-2 (KJV)

Obviously, these ten political kings (the nations of the Eurozone, and others in the political arena) have
become
drunken by drinking of this cup. So, to dig deeper, we must, again, return to a very familiar topic;
a topic discussed, numerous times in the past:
fornication - in its “spiritual” form!

Now, who or what would be behind
this manner of fornication?

Fornication, in one meaning, could be thought of as a person “defrauding the brethren.” In a sexual sense,
we could commit
fornication when we have sex with someone, and “screw them over” because of it. The
definition of
fornication has become a heavily debated topic throughout the years; yet, as we’ll see, one
important meaning could go
way beyond the popular meaning of “sex outside of marriage.” Rest assured,
this meaning of fornication will be discussed in greater detail, as we proceed, further.

For the sake of simplicity, let’s stick to this one, possible meaning of fornication: “screwing" somebody else
over. We “defraud,” or "screw over," someone when we hide our true intentions, or are
not entirely upfront
with what we want out of this exchange with them. This also works in the
spiritual realm.
We can commit
spiritual fornication with someone who wants to follow true ways of God, and simply
“screw” them over in a religious way – telling them lies, getting them to fund our
own endeavors; and,
ultimately,
hurting their chances of obtaining true spiritual happiness and gratification. We make them go
down a path which, in the end, is only gratifying to
ourselves.

Again, there is Biblical symbolism all over this topic, and it’s fairly easy to understand why: It seems to be
almost
exactly the same as when a person is led astray with sexual seduction. The fornicator - the one
doing the
seducing - usually causes another to depart from the faith, or makes compromises for the sake
of mass-approval.
These are the ways the religious beast - the False Prophet – would work: making
things sound
close, or near, to God, but not what was in the original teachings or theology; sounding
like it could be something of God, but
twisted, to work to one’s own favor.

Again, this is how fornication probably occurs in the spiritual world. Interestingly enough, this also
represents, what would be, the spirit of
antichrist! Let's see how.

Anti-Christ

This is clearly why the "beast" and “False Prophet” of Revelation, both, are thought of as antichrist!
The prefix
anti can mean “close to, but not, contrary; even the opposite." It is similar to the use of the word
para. Para could simply be defined as “close to,” but “not the genuine article.” In regards to our issue at
hand, those who act in the manner of a
ntichrist philosophy would appear, or act, like Christ, but clearly
not Christ, in the end! He may make himself out to be “holy;” but actually represents a pagan/Edomite
imitation – both, as we know, are related to this Babylonian mystery system of old.

The Antichrist "Way" of Esau - Through Works!

For those who still want to follow God, however, we need to recall a very important quote from the last
web page:

As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated." This proves the three points; Esau, the Non-
Elect, or Serpent's seed; 2nd, the principle of
works distilled into the human heart by the Serpent, and
Esau, from the source of his origin, belonging to that principle; 3rd, Jacob the woman's seed or Elect of
God, appointed to salvation by grace.
                           ("Treatise on the Two Seeds", n. d., p. 11)[27]

We know that Esau was a master-manipulator: working through the guise of subtle trickery and deceit in
order to dominate and control people (such as his father, Isaac). As a hunter, Esau subtly “trapped”
animals in ways so he could gather his success in the hunt! These same
subtle tricks were used by the
Edomites, to help them get what they wanted. We have one great Edomite “twist” inserted into the works,
over the years: the acquiring of one’s own salvation by
their works; or going through some human
intermediary to assist one in their own salvation!

As most Christians should know, one true and vital tenant of Christianity relies on one’s
faith in God, and
the relationship each individual has taken up with Him. This begins with the acceptance of the gift of
Christ’s substitute sacrifice on the cross as their new way to salvation! No more animal sacrifices to get one
back in favor with God. Jesus would come on the earth to
become that one, perfect substitute sacrifice -
for all time; for all situations. Again, this tenant is something so simple – and so individualistic – that it
seems almost too easy: to have
faith in something; to accept this gift as one’s own ticket to paradise; and
not have to overwhelm one’s own self with works to achieve their salvation. Could it be this easy?
The answer is yes. Usually, one who accepts God's grace - in the form of this
gift - would have a change
of heart, anyway; and want to do good by their works, from then on! So, yes - in the end, it’s all about this
gift and one's change of heart, and whether they choose to have
faith... to accept this, or not.

Regardless, as we also know,
Esau didn’t find a lot of merit in the fundamentals of faith and grace.

It’s fairly easy to assume that these Edomite
tares would, naturally, want people to come to them, or
include
them, in their own process of salvation. This allows for more domination and control over the
populous. And, as we’ve seen in the quote, above, the
real origins of this false tenant could, ultimately,
have roots where the ideologies of paganism and Edomite twists
usually originate – none other than
Sammael / the Serpent himself.

A lot like
Sammael might have selfishly claimed a “birthright” over the planet after it was given to Adam,
Esau and the Edomites may have also felt a “lost” birthright to Jacob (i.e. Israel), and wanted it back. Both
are similar in this way.
Esau/Edom, not suprisingly, would use some of the
same tactics that Sammael / the Serpent did - by
manipulation; by enticing individuals to act on their own lusts! This process involved recruiting certain
individuals who might be ripe for this willing deception: those willing to “sell their soul” for the sake of
gaining physical wealth and earthly fame; all sorts of worldly things.

It was a fight to the death for this Judeo/Christian “birthright” in the past; and still is. There truly
is a
“devil in disguise” in our religious processes, today.

Pagan Source - Christian Look

Of course, this website is not out to portray anything negative against so many of our good, well-wishing
people in the world today - those wanting to do right by God. We say nothing against those who have
heard the same, twisted religious dogma over the years - first from corrupted Israeli/Jewish sources, then
from corrupted Christian sources - and took it for granted (as what God and the Bible said all along).
Again, the problem is not the
faith of Judaism, Christianity, or the Bible itself; but with those who had
infiltrated these disciplines, who insist on holding true to traditions or twisted dogma that has
developed, and does
nothing to question this corruption.

Some might take offence to some of the information on this website; that’s okay. The reason that some
might is simple: a lot of this tradition and twisted dogma has found its way into Christianity because
someone, quite often in the upper echelons of belief, made it work towards their own best interest! As many
of us might assume, these people are dependent on
our riches for their very survival. It’s a fact of life, sorry
to say. So, the promotion of corruptive elements may, often, be
necessary for their survival, and continually
need to be hid. This is one reason why many in our clergy might hate any challenges to the current order.
To understand corruption, we need to understand human nature.

One thing we do know, now: it’s practically
impossible to spot one of these self-serving charlatans by just
looking at them, or by gathering genetic information. How we spot them, however, is fairly easy: by looking
at their
fruits; looking at their works; understanding what they promote; what they believe in; and why.
Some of those in our churches aren’t what they seem to be:

They can’t be Christians because their fruit is from the wrong tree. God’s law of reproduction states
everything must bring forth from its own kind whose seed is in itself…
                                                ("Esau/Edom, and the Trail of the Serpent – IV", n. d., p. 9)[28]

The
Romans (i.e. these Edomites of old) and the Idumeans (also, the Edomites of old) have both been
battling for control of the Holy Land, and this “birthright,” for many years. Most of us might not have had a
clue this is even going on; and just how much Esau/Edom continues with this onslaught!

This corrupt Judeo/Christian woman (or whore, as the Bible symbolizes her) is very
subtle, yet effective.
And, as we’ve discovered, this
new group of tares – those who manipulate the ways of God at their source
would continue on, and pass themselves off as guardians of what God gave to Israel, and to the up-and-
coming beliefs of
Christianity, as well!

We’ve already looked at one example of an Edomite insertion into, what would be, the
Christian mix –
achieving salvation by works. Most anyone trying to understand it all would, logically, assume that
pagan
ideology has also seeped into the works, in one way or another.
Let's see how the up-and-coming
Christian movement was corrupted, by both.

Pagan Fundamentals

Interestingly enough, there are a few elements of paganism, touted today, which easily could pass for
Christian tenants! Let’s take a look at them, and how these fundamentals could be manipulated, even
inserted, into Christian beliefs and ideologies.

The major ones are:

Polytheism
- the doctrine of or belief in more than one god or in many gods.[29]

Pantheism
- a doctrine that equates God with the forces and laws of the universe; “...God is everything and everyone
and that everyone and everything is God.”[30]

Animism
- the belief that all plants, rocks, animals, etc. possessed souls and are alive with the spirit of the gods.[31]

Paganism also has one great “architect” god, manifesting himself all throughout our natural world. This is,
in a way, similar to
Judeo/Christian thought: where God is the Creator; and all of creation is a reflection of
His work and presence.
Some might even begin to ask… well, what’s the difference? When it becomes that close, we could easily
see how one might be mistaken for the other, or taken for the other.
Grey begins to settle in between the
two theologies.

Also, in regards to paganism, one could easily insert
any deity as the great “architect” god. Even Sammael
or the Serpent could be conceived as the "big man upstairs” - the god over everything and everyone on
earth. Interestingly enough, in the Bible, Sammael (Satan)
is considered the “god of this world;” and does
seem to have a good number of fallen spirits under his direct authority – a good case for these pantheistic
“gods?”
What if Sammael/the Serpent
was placed into this “top spot?” A person could be referring to the Serpent
as the “great architect of the universe;” and serve him, without even knowing it!

This could be another reason why God has, so vehemently, always been
against having any other gods
(or spirits) before Him, or wanting anyone to pay homage to anything in
nature, except Him! It's because
this is something
Sammael/the Serpent would want; of course, directed his way.

All The Same?

Because of how similar the fundamentals might seem to be, it's fairly easy for some people to “lump
together” a lot of the different religious beliefs of our world into
one. After all, this thought, according to
many, just sounds "fair," and "right." The author of the “Complete Book of Witchcraft” - a man, obviously,
having a pagan lean to him - tries to sum it up as follows:

“As different as are the many religions of the world, in essence they are all the same. It has frequently
been said that they are simply different paths all leading to a common center, and this is true. The basic
teachings are all the same; all that differs is the method of teaching.”
                                                                                              (Buckland, 1993, p. 13)[32]

His opinion is understandable - to a degree. Instead of one common “center,” however, there are probably
two: one representing the true, unadulterated ways of God; and the other, the number of religious beliefs
which has, in one way or another, been infiltrated by paganism - and there are
many. If one really works
to study the two theologies, they, ultimately, will find that they
can’t be mixed. They’re like oil and water.
They can’t be mixed; unless, of course, one begins to
seep into the other and replaces it!

Paganism has infiltrated into these up-and-coming Judeo/Christian beliefs, past the time of Jesus’ day.
Let’s see some of these
pagan elements for what they are, and how Christian belief systems, sorry to say,
have so willingly adopted them.

Catholicism

In our first example, the religion of Catholicism can really leave no bones to its origin. It’s fairly easy to
discover the pagan infusions, here.[33] Their adoption of pagan elements is almost common knowledge;
but, there were reasons for this...

In approximately 300 A.D., the political side of the Roman Empire seemed to be losing control over the
wealth, property, and people it had acquired over the ages. Of course, Rome had been infiltrated and
overrun with pagan elements since the time of Noah – it was clearly a pagan empire, by this time; through
and through.
Christianity, on the other hand, was on an upward swing since the time of Christ; winning over converts,
every day. This new Judeo/Christian combination began to take off; gaining an almost unstoppable
momentum. The old Roman culture and ways of life may have begun to suffer, partly, because of this all;
and the leaders knew they should do something, and fast.

These leaders had full knowledge of the power of
religion, just as the Israeli Pharisees understood what
kind of
power they had. To hold on to it, wouldn’t it be in their best interest to adopt, at least partly, some of
these up-and-coming beliefs of Christianity? What better way for them to maintain their status quo than a
little compromise, here.

Interestingly, around this same time, Roman general
Constantine was next in the line for the throne. He
was faced with almost impossible odds at defeating a rival general: Maxentius. According to legend,
Constantine saw the image of a cross in the sky, and attributed it as a sign that
he would be the victor.[34]
After a stupendous battle, there
was a victor; we’ll never guess who won?

Constantine attributed his vision as the reason for his successful march. Then, as a token of his victory,
Constantine declared: "I and my Roman people are now Christian!" Whether it happened this exact way,
one could only guess. Constantine was, at least for a time, a pagan; and a sun-worshipper.[35]

Regardless, if Rome could harness some of this up-and-coming power, they could hold onto whatever
remained of their empire. Why not use the power of religion for their benefit, as well?

As we know, paganism and Christianity
do seem to have some similar tenants: both have a “creator,” or
“architect,” god. Roman leaders also knew the death of their
pagan “savior” (a.k.a. Nimrod) and the death
of Jesus had some similarities: both were sacrificed via spilt blood; both died as a martyr; both were
considered to be "rose again" (one “reborn” into another baby's body; the other, bodily); and both were
given credit for "saving" the world. All the leaders had to do was to change a couple of names, and change
a few elements of the old Babylonian religion, and they
got it: a “semi-perfect” infusion of paganism and
Christianity![36]

But, tradition and superstition doesn't go down that easily, as we'll see. In order for the Roman Empire to
force subjects to adopt these new tenants of Christianity, they had to keep
some of their former, pagan
ideals. Many of them would not let go of their old pagan beliefs very easily.

Again, the
corruption within this church is the problem. Those who willingly know that these sacrilegious
elements are in there, and continue to pass them on, are the problem. This wanton of corrupted
individuals, who use whatever merciless, malicious - even cruel - tactics to deceive the populous and keep
themselves in control, is the problem within the church; and not the
church itself.

In modern Christian belief, we have a good number ancient pagan influences present; they have not left at
all. We'll only point out a few, here; to make our point.

The Pagan Elements

…they, as the tares, are suffered to grow in the world with the good seed…
                                                                                ("Views on the Two Seeds", n. d., p. 31)[17]

We recall that Jesus’ parable referred to
ideological corruption. Along with Cain and the post-flood
Kenites,
it seems there was another set of human tares:

…certain wicked characters… crept in unawares, who were before… Esau…
(was) like a tare beside him (Jacob) in the same womb…
                                                                                (Anonymous, 1834, p. 72)[18]

Now, this new set of human
tares expanded their corruption into Jewish culture, government, and, what
would be, the entire Judeo/Christian belief system! Esau’s descendants would have a huge part in
introducing this counterfeit system into God’s Holy nation; unbeknownst to many.

How did
this set of tares do their work? As we recall, a tare could be thought of as “one most resembling
wheat, and has been supposed to be
degenerated wheat.” It is also “indistinguishable from wheat until it
heads at harvest.” Obviously, these
tares hide amongst the populous, and degenerates their society.

…the Biblical tare… resembles wheat yet bears poison in the field of the

world as an offensive crop adulteration.
                                              ("The Biblical Tare of Saint Matthew's Gospel", n. d., p. 3)[19]

Obviously, there
were adulterations brought about by these tares.

…(the word tare) is derived from zonah meaning ‘degenerate’ or ‘degraded’

though the roots in Hebrew mean literally ‘a harlot’, ‘unfaithful’.
                                              ("The Biblical Tare of Saint Matthew's Gospel", n. d., p. 2)[20]

By utilizing some of these key words, above, we see the ideology
behind the human tare: as being
“adulterous” to what God set aside for the human race. Those promoting these degenerated ideas would
be “unfaithful” to God, in a way; or play "the harlot” to Him. In other words, these contrary “ways” would
look, at least somewhat,
similar to traditional ways of God, but have not kept within the bounds of their
“marriage” to God.
Hence, these ways were “prostituted” out, in order to give someone their own riches or fame.

Eventually, these contrary elements were being promoted right out in the open, in front of everyone, or right
along with the ways of God. This is what’s behind this whole concept of Jesus'
tare parable.

…we have considered it necessary to admonish that our fruit

have not “darnel,” that is, no tares…
                                                             - Origen Homilies on Genesis and Exodus, p. 53-54[21]

Interestingly enough, the word
darnel could be a proper name for the Biblical tare. “The Latin name for this
darnel is Lolium temulentum, scientific and Latin 'drunken'.”[22] But, why would these tares be equated to
the word
drunken? It would seem to symbolize the affects these manipulations have on the general populous:

Darnel usually grows in the same production zones as wheat and is considered a weed. The similarity
between these two plants is so great that in some regions, darnel is referred to as "false wheat". It bears a
close resemblance to wheat until the ear appears… The wheat will also appear brown when ripe, whereas
the darnel is black… The French word for darnel is ivraie (from Latin ebriacus, intoxicated), which expresses
the drunken nausea from eating the infected plant, which can be fatal. The French name echoes the
scientific name, Latin temulentus "drunk."
                                   ("Lolium temulentum", n. d., p. 1)[23]

These above word choices seem to fit
perfectly with what the Bible describes the tares as – perfectly
corresponding to the subtle exploits of these Edomites.

The tares have crept in, often unaware to the good wheat (i.e. the good people of Israel, and
beyond), and
made their own ideological mark on this once-pure nation. It all seems to be just another element of this
age-old “struggle between the kingdom of God and kingdom
of the world.”[24] It never seems to end; now,
being "stepped up," with harsh, pinpointed attacks on the very essence of God’s ways for His nation!

Note how the words
degenerated, drunken, and adulterated were used, in the above definitions. Note how
the words
harlot and unfaithful were also used! We will now see that the Bible used these same words in its
description of
Mystery Babylon.

Just
what are some of these degenerate moralities pushed by those wise to this deceit? Just who is
prostituting themselves out, for their own individual ends? And, ultimately,
who are the ones being made
drunken because of it?
One Biblical symbol for this moral degeneration manifests into one single word:
cup.

The Cup
